It's carrying on my personal tradition of compying and tweaking.
About this creation
It all began when I saw Fernando Vallejo's ICW 162 'Nacht Jaeger', which can be seen here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/39721
This fighter, I thought, looked very good and easy to replicate. It turned out harder to replicate than I thought, but I did it. Of course, I changes many things, like the engine, nose, and weapons. In fact, I changed everything but the shape. To make it clear, I left a review stating I would be building this, and I built it, now I'm posting it. So all credit goes where nessacary.
Now, my favorite part, the backstory: The Coalation of the Multiverse did not have anything smaller than a bomber in it's space fleet. The large battleships couldn't always keep themselves free of fighter attacks, so the Coalation set out to build a fighter. This failed, as no fighter could effectivley fight the Republic of God's F-19 Tri-fighters (You can check it out from the adress provided on my homepage). So, while universe browsing, an agent discovered the ICW 162. It was everything the Coalation needed. Now with a effective firing platform, work could begin on smaller, quicker fighters.
This ship takes of alot like an Me-163 Komet. There are 3 wheels mounted on a dolly, which seperates right before the ship leaves the flight deck. These are then retreived and put to use on another ship. Takeoff is just like an atmospheric plane, but instead of runway, flight deck in a Senate class Battleship/Carrier. How they land, not even I know.
About the lack of pictures: The camera ran out of batteries, and I can't find the other one.
?... I.. I just made a jet with the same cockpit, only in black, i didn't post it yet and now I see this plane with exactly the same cockpit... I guess you had the same brilliant idea, the windshield fits perfect and can be raised nicely doesn't it ? anyway, I need to work some more on my jet before I post it. Great job
