The fourth stage in the development of the harbourside city of Legoland.
About this creation
SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE PHOTOS OF THE LATEST CHANGES TO LEGOLAND.
Late September and early October saw some dramatic changes in Legoland after what must have been a couple of tough months in the local construction industry.
The cafe next to the fire station was demolished and the Shell service station was redesigned and moved to the location of the old cafe. A new cafe was built across from the harbour.
The harbour also underwent some major changes, with the addition of a new crane, enlarged shipping yards and a new forklift.
The police station was also remodelled and a new retail building, complete with jewellery store, bank and fashion outlet, was added between it and the new cafe.
The medical centre remained on the same site but was extensively redeveloped.
The harbourside administration building (a.k.a. Set 4513) was also renovated and the small McDonald's shifted in next door and grew a couple of extra storeys.
A new bus and some other new vehicles were also spotted around town. All up, a rather busy couple of weeks!

The laneway beside the police station was widened and the service station now sits on the site of the old cafe.

The levels of detail and accuracy in this moc are stunning! The medical centre is the type of build that really captures the imagination, as does the entire build as a whole. Mate, this is just sensational! :-) |
