I'd like to take a moment to congratulate Chris Phipson in our recent MOC-off. Please accept this "Good Effort" trophy. You are one heck of a runner up!
Chris: "Hey Ocean, bet you can't jump across to that wall!"
Me: "Er, are you serious? I think all those twinkies have affected your brain!"
Chris: "Be advised, you koala loving son of a convict, you WILL lose!"
Me: "Now now, my baldness gives me an aerodynamical advantage, dipstick!"
"Phew, ok...."
Chris: "Ready...set...JUMP!"
*SPLAT!*
Me: "hehe I knew it!"
Me: "As if y-whoa...only just made it myself..."
Seriously though, props to my homey Chris for coming up with something different and funny. Despite the rumour, he is ALL man. This contest was by no means a cake walk. In fact, depending on how the votes were counted, in total, Chris actually got a higher score. But, as per the rules, we could only count the people who voted for BOTH MOCs, which put me slightly ahead (hence me hanging on by my fingertips up there). Later ~ Shan

I propose that we get to vote on the Phipster's "Ocean Wins" MOC. If it isn't funnier than this, he has to make another one. If that one isn't funnier, he has to make another one. If THAT one isn't funnier, he has to send you all his Lego. |

Every time I get to step 6 or 7 in the twinkie 12 step program, Ocean brings me right back in! I'm currently getting your "You Win" moc together. My 17 month old is doing most of the work though... You have no idea how many times that very thing has happened to me! Then I have to get my head replaced (which is embarrassing)...and do I learn? No! A few days later I'm back to eating twinkies, and the next thing you know, SPLAT! I do it again and...oh, wait. You were using this in an allegorical sense...uhhh...never mind. |
