The P-Type 02 (Production-Type) battlesuit

The MSB-003-2 battlesuit is the Second battlesuit built by the Midnight Sun Mercenary Company based on the P-Type template.

The P-Type2 was built based on the P-Type template but the design was changed slightly in preperation for the companies plans to reallocate it's mobile armor unit into it's space borne division.

Despite better than hoped for performance MSB-003-2 was significantly more expensive than the first P-Type due to the integrated maneuver vernier system. This iteration of the 003 template will likely be abandoned in favor of cheaper add-on parts for more template accurate P-Type battlesuits.

The MSB-003-2 is armed with the experimental B-02 autocannon. It is based off the same delivery system as the B-01, but has two independent firing chambers and barrels so it is able to maintain a much higher rate of fire without overheating.

Here you can see the most distinctive variance of MSB-003-3, the maneuver verniers designed to allow the battlesuit to act in low or zero gravity environments. They can also be used as jump assist jets to allow the suit to leap short distances.

To date the PT2 suit has been used in two engagements and has been disabled but not seriously damaged once.

Initial plans call for two units of 4 battlesuits to be deployed to the space borne division, one unit of 4 to remain with the headquarters defense force, and a fourth unit to be deployed with research and development to do duty as experimental test beds, a training unit, and emergency reserve.

A large percentage of the current battlesuit pilots, active and in training, are full conversion cyborgs. Their enhanced reflexes and endurance give them an edge over most unmodified applicants.

Claptric here is PT2's second and current pilot. He has only recently undergone cyborg conversion and has not yet seen combat. The first pilot, Tish Arbolest was transferred to MSB-003-3S and placed in command of the 2nd unit.

A shot of the unit's suits taken during redeployment to company HQ for advanced maintenance and training. Periodic overhauls of the suits systems are needed to keep the suits in top shape as well as to gather data on the effects of wear and tear on what are still very new and experimental pieces of equipment.

very nice hardsuit, it would be nice to see them in form with some tanks, troopers, and some bigger mechs. have an all out ground war. and u be sure to give those piolots some crap from me, that is a very tempting target, a single rocket and they'ed be dead!. |

Nice. I like the way the arms work, and I dig the small scale. Do the hips rotate on a stud to turn the toes outward, or is there something in there?
