Carpathia
The Carpithia saved the passengers of the Titanic. Only 705 people survived.
About this creation
This is a Carpathia I made, and it is my first creation.. The masts are old track pieces. This creation was made in 2006. After this creation, I changed it into the Expedient, a ship in the book "Operation Red Jerico".

The front of the ship.

The open hull of the ship. The baseplate is facing backward.

Awesome! Now you can sink your titanic (not literally, of course!) and pick up survivors with your carpathia. Nice job.

Quoting Matty Mason This is cool, yet i've never heard of it and i have got the DK Eyewitness Titanic book. Oh, and one last thing, if the minifig is to scale with the ship, then that is one small ship!
Sorry for the confusion. The creation was originally named the "New York," which was a ship that almost collided with the Titanic. It is talked about very slightly, thus the fact that it didn't appear in the book is not a surprise.

That's a very nice ship. I really like the old Liner design, it's quite well done. Don't worry about trying to make Lego ships scale. Instead use what I call 'Lego' scale. Imitating the overall shape and important functions of the origional, but in a downsized cartoony scale. Did you build that warship in the backround too? I wanna see more of that one. :)
