Spreading joy and LIU influence across the universe...
About this creation
LIU Ambassador Flagship
The Ludgonian Industrial Union, in an attempt to spread its influence across the universe, has created a fleet of Ambassador Flagships. These ships transport LIU ambassadors to other empires and systems to barter bussiness deals and secure alliances. There are approximately fifty ships in service at this time. The ship shown is #2 in the fleet.

The three story Ambassador Flagship contains several rooms to pamper dignitaries and enough supplies to keep the ambassador and crew in space for several months.

This flagship, #2, carries the second highest ranking ambassador (behind the Universal Ambassador). He is sent to the most important allies and customers.

While the ship is white and smooth, hopefully its not too boxy. We know certain aspects of the ship certainly retain the classic box like structure, but strides were taken to make the flagship slightly more curvy.

The slight curve added into the ship's front. Why do all LIU ships have giant LIU signs? Its free advertising for god's sake! We can't pass up free.

The flagship is lightly armed, mostly to stop smaller vessels from attempting to board. It certainly does not have the fire power to attack an equal sized ship.

Its slightly bare up top, but it was necessary to cover the majority of the ship with heat resistant tiles. It can enter the atmosphere after all.

On the cabin there are more LIU signs, the ships number (II), stabilizing fins, and radar equipment.

Small thrusters line each side of the ship allowing the flagship to make quick turns.
The main engines are some of better we've made. Its necessary for a ship that logs so many miles. Its also great for fleeing the areas where we've made people mad (which is ever expanding).

A cargo door on the ship's bottom deck allows for entry while the ship is on the surface.

Two airlocks, one on each side of the ship, allow for entry while the ship is in space. Many of the LIU's customers are rogue groups without home planets. Its often necessary to meet in space. Let's head inside the airlock.

The airlock opens into the conference/dining room. Here, foreign dignitaries are wined and dined before meetings. Larger meetings also take place here.

A small computer in this room runs powerpoint presentations loaded with LIU propaganda and subliminal messages. Who is that the ambassador is meeting with?

Why its the leadership of the Red Pajama One-Eyed Pirate Federation. (Requirements for entry: red pajamas and one eye.) The LIU negotiates safe passage for LIU freighters in return for a .5% discount on LIU Swarm Products.

A world-class kitchen allows the ambassador to pamper his guests with fine foods. Scurvey salad and fried llama colons are on the menu today, it's the pirates' favorite.
Next door to the dining room is a small den. The leaders retire here for stiff drinks near the fire. The deal is closed after a bit of pirate rum. Note the wooden bar in the room...classy.

With all the eating and boosing on board, a bathroom is essential. It also serves the crew when no dignitaries are on board.

That's as far as the dignitaries can go. A wooden gate gives a polite reminder.
The gate blocks the stairs that lead to the ship's cabin. Here, seven crew members control all aspects of the Ambassador Flagship.

An elevator leads from the cabin to the lower deck. This deck is reserved for the crew only.

A shower allows the ambassador to clean up before a meeting. It wasn't included in the upstairs bathroom because it would be pretty awkward if foriegn ambassadors started showering during metings. Although, the pirates could have used it...

Next door, two beds allow the crew to take turns sleeping. The ambassador can take a bed anytime he wishes.

A cargo bay holds supplies for the long journey.
Note: Ambassador Flagships #32-38 are reserved for visiting enemies and are more highly armed. Flagships #49 and #50 are kept on stand by in the LIU galaxy for diplomatic emergencies. Flagship #12's crew was lost while visiting the Huari Galaxy. It is belived that the Atomic Tacos served on board killed the entire crew. The ship was recovered and re-deployed.

nice shape and details! it really look a lot better, maybe color in the inside would have been better looking, but, it s still awfully good like that, the control room is excellently done, but, the rest of the interior would have benefited more props, overall, great work! |

I'll always remember to by LIU when I'm out and about in space! The white color scheme is cool (and boasts a big LEGO collection), but if I was flying in space with no day and no night for a week, and all I saw was white, I'd go insane! Excellent model, though. |

Very good job. The LIU is growing more powerful, and the I.R.N (Intergalactic Royal Navy) would like to request an alliance. Together we will rule the entire universe. I'll have pics of the I.R.N's Naval fleet, and more on my site. Now to review to creation...
I really like the interior. Its amazing how you can fit all of that stuff in that ship. The detail is outstanding, the inside is amazing, It looks cool, And its just plain old freaken' awesome. My only complaint is that it's a little to boxy, and doesn't have much weaponry. |

If that thing travels through space, why did you include a flag on the outside? Plus, how are you supposed to have a fireplace, china dishes, etc. on board when it re-enters planetary atmosphere? Plus, the whole thing is way too white. By the time you get off the ship after a week of traveling, you'd be color-blind. So sorry about Ship #12, but seriously . . . you need more weapons, man! More weapons! If an army of Star Destroyers attacks one of these, it would be toast. And before I forget, I regret to inform anybody who's interested that I don't possess red pajamas or cyclopsy. |

As always, fantastic work. I never liked the aesthetics that you stamp on your works, but the work that exists behind and taken care by the interiorismo it forces me to punctuate his(her) high place. Do not believe that you do not deserve one 5/5, but I am a person moved by the aesthetics and it is very personal. Anyway, fantastic work!! |

Man, I haven't had fried Llama colons in ages - boy, does that sound good. I'm getting out my red pj's and the ol' eye patch, and inviting myself over for dinner! Probably better wear my shades, though. All that pristine white could burn out my retinas! |

I'm sure there's something embarassingly Freudian about a male obsessed with the colour white...I haven't discovered it yet, but you won't hear the end of it when I do mate :P Nice ship BTW. Also, I'd love to see a LIU advertising ship-like a giant interstellar billboard reminding everyone in the galaxy to buy LIU. Just daydreaming... |

I've taken issue with some of your boxy designs in the past, but this actually works. The bulge on the lower hull and the thin profile, as well as the use of wedges near the nose, keep it from becoming so boxy it's unrealistic. The engines are better than usual as well. |

Alright! I couldn't wait for the day I could see the LIU Ambassador Flagship! Like all of your ships, very imppressive! But I appriciate the shape of this model even more! Instead of the classic "LIU Box" you made it into a fancy box! The detail is, as usual, amazing with computers galore! This ship will always be welcome in ORE territory. Great work!! |

IT'S A FAKE! It has curves! It has nice engines! It can't be LIU... But it is, and nicely done LIU at that! This is a bold step for you, Your Highness. But, one that has paid off! (still trying to figure out the "half story". Do they crawl? Hard to do without knees!). Very nice build. Long Live the LIU! Later ~ Chris. |

awsome stuff Emperor! I'm happy that it's less boxy and has a sleek appearence, although I beleive a bigger window would look better on this ship. Maybe a large observitory in the confrence room? (like two big windows combined to make a stargazing obsevitory) perhaps this will even distract the Red pajamied one eyed pirates. Anyway, watch out for those atomic tacos, the give serious gas. |

Maybe he has a ton of white pieces from, oh... say, Bricklink. And maybe he just keeps all of the larger ones intact. Hey, how about a fleet shot if you still have them around? As for the MOC itself, it's a simple, sleek white ship. You go for solid design and stability over fancy aesthetics. 4/5. |
