This is my version of the ah-1 cobra. I know its not the best but i think it came out pretty good, after all i built it in one affternoon. Some of the things i personally think i should change are the nose area and maybe make the fuselage just a little longer and make the hole thing a little bigger other then that i really like how it looks, especially the canopy. Anyway i hope you enjoy it and please leave reviews because i want to know what you think of it thanks
A Very Brief History of the AH-1
The AH-1 Cobra is an attack helicopter manufactured by Bell. It shares a common engine, transmission and rotor system with the older UH-1 Iroquois (nicknamed "Huey"). The AH-1 is also sometimes referred to as the "HueyCobra" or "Snake".
The AH-1 was once the backbone of the United States Army's attack helicopter fleet, but has been replaced by the AH-64 Apache in Army service. Upgraded versions continue to fly with several other users. The AH-1 twin engine versions remain in service with United States Marine Corps as the service's primary attack helicopter.
This is fantastic. My father was a cobra pilot in vietnam and it is my favorite helicopter as well as his. Well done. I would love to build one for my father, how big is the actual scale you have it? I am not trying to copy yours I would just like to build my dad one before he dies and I need a better starting point for a decent size . If you can help great, if not then thats okay to. You are very talented and I look forward to seeing more builds. Thanks
nice Huey Cobra especially with the canopy that is just awesome, but the fuselage is a little wide compared to the real thing. still awesome keep up the good work. Also could you please check out my Huey Cobra's thanks.
A bit flat, and rather sleek, but an exellent model nonetheless. I think the engine compartment needs to be a little longer, and the rotor should probably be moved forward a few studs. Nice work! -- -- Michael
I love this. It's simple, but reflects the subject matter very well. The use of SNOT is not overdone, but it works perfectly to enhance the overall shape. I'm especially impressed with how you angled the cockpit section. Great job!
