Modding a creation, in my opinion, is kinda dumb. It takes the fun out of being creative with just the pieces you have; instead, if a modder doesn't have a piece or doesn't like the look of it in their creation, they cut, paint, or glue it. In my humble opinion, that's not skill.

I agree that there is a middle ground for this modding, i have done it myself a few times, mainly on some pieces that are so common, no-one cares about them. Does Marvin know his helmet is sharpied?

Mods are amazing i mean why would you hate mods its just cutting and glueing stuff thats not bad at all it just makes stuff look better!!

I'm stuck in the middle! I'm so confused! I agree there is some middle place a MOC should be in! Don't make it horrible, but you can add a little to it. It's not that big a deal! But if you are going to modify weapons or minifigs, do it well, but don't go overboard!

I only "mod" parts on minifigs and their accessories. And nobody burns legos to mod.

dude....MODs can be awsome, but you actually have to change more than 2 parts. Calm down, no need to trash a perfectly good minifig.
