Ahh yes, ShadowHawk. It was the bad ole' days (the '90s) and every comic company around had to have superheros. One of Jim Valentino's contributions to the craze was ShadowHawk, a vigilante anti-hero like Batman if Batman was an angry black man infected with HIV/AIDS.
I never in a million years thought I would see a Lego minifig version of him though. Batman yeah. Superman, ok. But ShadowHawk? Dude, that's frickin' awesome.
Ahhh... the old days. Shadowhawk, for you "youngens" out there, is a character from when I was a teenager. I'm in my thirties... Do the math. My friends and I used to play role playing games (the table top kind, we used our imaginations for fun waaaayyyy back then) and came to the conclusion that the comic companies had bugged our gaming sessions. I came up with the "shadow hawk" character and we also started a "Cyberforce" game. about two months later, both came out as comics. Did I go on a rant again... sorry. I LOVE your Shadowhawk. Do Darkhawk next! Later ~ Chris.
well... I never heard of shadow hawk before.
and I haven't seen the character yet.
But this minifig modification is by far the BEST I've ever seen! (both technical and optical)
and I've seen LOTS of them in the last couple of years... 6/5 if this would be possible...
The funny thing is that I saw a ShadowHawk comic for the first time yesterday in school, I know nothing about him. This lego looks just like him though, great job.
