Rakkhan was once the Turaga of a warlike clan of Matoran on the island of Rana Nui. The clan controlled a series of other islands by brute force, and soon the warlike clan became such a threat that the Brotherhood of Makuta launched an attack to free the enslaved Matoran on the captured islands. Eventually forced to withdraw his troops to Rana Nui, Rakkhan sealed his remaining forces in the island fortress, and a siege spanning months began. Eventually, with his Matoran dying of hunger around him, Rakkhan prepared for one final sally forth to make for the beaches. The gates were raised and the army of Rana Nui (or what remained of it) poured out to fight their way to safety. During the ensuing chaos, Rakkhan was simultaneously struck by a Kagharak spinner and a bolt of energy, fusing the spinner to his body. Captured and defeated, Rakkhan was taken for trial to the city of Metru Nui.
During the voyage home, he discovered and began to test out his new powers. The spinner lodged within him now gave him control over the terrifying Zone of Darkness, giving him untold power. Though he could have escaped into the Zone immediately, he instead plotted his revenge, and waited for his trial. As the triumphant army of the Brotherhood reached Metru Nui and Turaga Rakkhan was led out into the open, he summoned his energies and called forth the mighty Zivon into the legendary city. As panic and violence ensued, the Turaga turned and vanished into the Zone of Darkness.
Months later, he was finally caught, and almost immediately sentenced to imprisonment inside the eternal Pit. Upon confinement in its changing waters, Rakkhan's body reacted to the changing agents much quicker than other prisoners. Over the course of two weeks, his body became encased in an enormous shell of hardened armour, his hands turned to claws, and he was transformed into an enormous beast.
Though his powers were nullified by the waters of the Pit, Rakkhan is still free to enter and exit the Zone of Darkness, though he can only travel throughout the Pit. Though his mightiest powers are held in check, others have begun to emerge. The former Turaga can rain bolts of incandescent death from the spines on his back, and is fully capable of crushing anyone in his path. But although his powers are mostly concentrated on destruction, he has one final trick up his sleeve. Though many argue that he had this ability before his "accident", it is now undeniable that Rakkhan has a subtle form of psychic control over lesser beings. This could explain his former successes as the leader of Rana Nui. Although now a beast, and bound to wander the Pit, Turaga Rakkhan is still a force to be reckoned with. And heaven help us if he ever gets free.

Please don't mind that last comment. My son did that. We sorta have this bet that my 3 headed dragon would get more views than the demon moc he wanted you to see. He had a hand in helping make the basic design of the demon moc, so he's kinda attached to it till now. I guess he outsmarted me by advertising to a bunch of outstanding mocers. Haha. Anyway, this moc of yours is excellent and the story ain't that long. Well written. |
