Monster Magnet
Monster Magnet. MM. nicknamed: the mean machine. It's an outerspace mech, designed to walk on the exterior of really big spaceships.
About this creation
Dopes to infinity. The album by Monster Magnet.

The best mech I made so far if you consider proportions. I originally wanted to make something in the style of Uspez Morbo's UBGU. Working with bleu was a challenge because I've got few bleu bricks to work with. So the dominent colour became white while constructing it.

Monster Magnet was fun experimenting with fins and building around the legs in unusual shapes. It turned out to be a really 'thin' mech. The main reason for that is because it has very small feet, but still a considerable height. It took a while to get a stabile mech in result.

Pretty obvious why it's called Monster Magnet... This way the mech can stroll the surface of huge spaceships.

Okay, I know what you're thinking: that's the only guns it has??? I was so happy with the elegance of the mech that whatever weapons I added; I totally disliked. These shooters are the only ones I feel good about.

The hips and shoulderpieces are in total dedication AND admiration to Jeff Ranjo's Wendigo, the White mega-Deus. Now THAT'S a beautyfull machine!

Wow, really nice. The colors look great and the design is quite good. I read Keith's review and see what he means about the legs, but since I can't build Mechas at all, this is sweet.

Great design, lots of detail- does it stand upside down on a piece of metal?

Inspired by my UBGU???? Now that's a first! Thanks for the mention but this is sooo much better than my modest little mech. One thing that stands out is how grand this looks: Monster Magnet looks like it would be absolutely huge and a lot of mech builders don't get that feeling across. Great facial area as well! Too many things I like and not enough space.. excellent work!
