The LIU is back and hungry for money. Don't just stand there...hand it over.
About this creation
LIU Advanced Infantry Locator - (AIL)
First of all, the Ludgonian Industrial Union wants to dispell all the rumors created in our absence.
1. Emperor Ludgonious is not dead.
2. The LIU is not bankrupt.
3. We didn't run out of legos, money, or ideas
4. We haven't been arrested. (Innocent until proven guilty...)
5. The LIU isn't in a dark age.
Anywho, for anyone that cares, I've been tied up on some business for a few months. Most of it is things I pushed back during my previous 100+ day posting binge. Sorry for all the MOC's I failed to review during my hiatus and thanks for all the reviews received while I was away. Well, here we go.
The Ludgonian Industrial Union is proud to present the newest in scout technology, the LIU Advanced Infantry Locator (AIL). The AIL is a hybrid of traditional helicopters and advanced hovercrafts. (Sorry for the disappointing return, but you have to start small..)
The AIL is not a helicopter. While it sports the traditional blade, it uses a unique technology to keep aloft. Several anti-gravity generators are hidden in the blade. When the blade rotates, it spreads these gravity waves over the entire ship.
This revolutionary lift system is silent, giving the AIL a stealthy advantage.
Large thrusters and cannons line the sides of the AIL.
Here's a closer view of the cannons. These cannons fire precision rounds that detonate upon right before impact. They are extemely useful against infantry units and lightly armored vehicles.
The AIL's main thrusters are powerful, but loud. They should only be utilized when the AIL needs to cover lots of ground. The four smaller thrusters should be used when attempting stealth.
We finally come to it. The reason the AIL is called the AIL. (You know you were wondering) The AIL's tail contains five antennas that are designed to detect minute biometric readings. What does that mean? It means the AIL can find enemy soldiers regardless of where they hide or what they wear. (Although, we recommend that you tell your enemies that pink spandex outfits have been shown to fool the sensors...just to see if they would wear it.)
The biometric system detects all signs of life in the area (ie.-insects, plants, and kaadus). However, the AIL's computer can isolate whatever life signals you are interested in. Want to kill troops? Target human biometrics. Want to kill annoying amphibians? Target Gungan biometrics.
"See sir, I told you the intelligence was good. Pink spandex works!"
"Yep. And it feels nice too..."
Note: Like we said, its a disappointing return. Many of you are probably saying, "It took three months to make that!" Yes, its true, but, we have three words for you. Target whiners biometrics.
Very nice creation. Black really fits it. But three months?! It took me 8 months to make the Echo (note from creator: that took about 5 days in real life), and the Echo is 5 times bigger than that thing! Add Unit 3XTY4Xz-Erros (me) too your allies, though I will help you only to save me and my tean's lives. Your company is disgusting, how all it wants is money. But it is the money that counts, so GREAT JOB!
The mocpages censoring/review system has struck again! your review of my Vader moc got deleated by this wonderful site. I didn't delete it! I would never delete a review (good or bad)! Yours is the second to be deleted on one of my pages by this "site". love your work by the way. Later ~ Chris.
Target Emperor Ludgonious biometrics... MOCpages users could have used one of these to figure out where you were during that hiatus: I was one of the many wondering where you went! This is appropriately black for stealthy reasons but a lot of the juicy details take a little longer to see because of that. We'll just have to look harder! Nice MOC and back story!
I'm glad you're back -- I thought you'd dropped off the radar permanently. It's hard to get a good idea of what a futuristic copter will look like, and this is one of the best I've seen. The rotors are neat but the big side guns/engines really make this model. It's less boxy than your usual ships as well. Great job!
