About this creation

For all you dudes who have never heard of Pilgrim's Progress, a book based on the journey of Christians, this is a pilgrim with a big burden.

On his way to the Celestial City, he looks up at the "place of deliverance" or the cross where Jesus died for sinners.

His burden (or sin) is relieved! It falls off, never to take a hold on him again!

On he runs toward the Celestial City.

Overview shot.

Great reminder of what Easter's all about. About the MOC itself though, I think you could've left out the green flag in front of the cross, other than that, good job.

Excellent scenario . . . I love that book. An ingenious cross, I must give credit to you for it. Down with the Easter Bunny and all immoral activities that are decaying the true importance of such an important holiday! Er, sorry about the psycological interference . . .

Technically, the word Easter is derived from the name of the Saxon goddess of spring Eastre and the giving of painted eggs is also Saxon, but the festival we now call Easter is the celebration of Jesus' reurrection. Happy Life Day sons and duaghters of the Living God by the blood of the one who died for us traitors. Jubilation to the peoples. nice MOC.
