I named it after a Pokémon
About this creation
I built this because Uspez Morbo made a challenge: integrate the Blacktron II bubble style cockpit into a MOC while using only two colors (trans color excluded). Go here to see how the cockpit is built:
http://www.peeron.com/scans/6933-1/4/
I wanted the body to look sleek to contrast with the round canopy, and what could be sleeker than black with chrome silver? By the way, I have a tripod now.
The pilot.
Front view. Kind of a pointless picture.
Side view.
VOAT for Variations On A Theme.
Rear view. The purple in the engines doesn't count.
Top view. I think it looks best from this angle, because you can see the shape of the wings better.
This is the Ninjask’s main weapon emplacement, with two machine gun cannons and a missile launcher. I was thinking about putting a tail on it, but it looks better without one. You can also see the chrome greebles in this shot.
The machine gun cannons, which are simply megaphones with lightsaber hilts in them, can move to shoot targets that are above the ship.
Underside. Sorry for all the studs, but it’s better to have them on the bottom than on the top. The grill tiles are supposed to be VTOL thrusters. There is also a pair of machine gun cannons here.
Like the ones on the top, the ventral cannons can move to shoot ground targets.
Here’s the cockpit that you have to use if you’re going to take Uspez’s challenge. I think it’s pretty cool, too.
This is the framework around which the whole ship is built, in case you were wondering.

Nice shape and colors. The chrome accents are sweet. I love minifig-scale ships with unusual shapes and this is very distinctive. Great work. |

And a third builder joins the fray. Chrome... how absolutely awesome! I dreamed of having chrome as 1 of the 2 colors. I love this well shaped VOAT (great lettering by the way) but my favorite part has to be the engines... they give the Ninjask a look of pure speed. You've challenged the challenge and come out a true challenger. |

Another beautiful design -- this theme is really bringing out the best in everyone. Great shape, and the name goes really well with the design. Wish I had some of those cockpit pieces... |

...No, just no. Its a cool ship but you lose a smiley for naming it after a POKEMON. What were you thinking? |

Chrome, Black, and trans purple. Along with some ever rare smoke octogonal windscreens, with a nice sleek design, gets a nice five from me. Good job. Anyone who uses purple is cool in my books. I also accidently voted for it twice when I was logged out before I reviewed. Sorry 'bout that. |
