When soldiers are pinned down by an enemy MG nest or some other enemy hardpoint, no sight is more welcome than of a LineBacker tearing in and unleashing hell on the enemy. Capable of engaging even the toughest ground targets, the LineBacker was designed to be maneuverable enough to put up a fight in and Air-to-Air engagement.
About this creation
A closer view of the quad 30mm cannons. Usually loaded with a mix of AP and HE rounds, these 4 cannons can fire a total of almost 3000 rounds per minute. The cannons are all-purpose guns, and can be effective against enemy hardpoints, armor, and other aircraft.
The rear of the plane. The cone on the back is the main engine, and the small projections jutting out from the back of the wing are auxilary engines which can be used for extra thrust or in case the main engines go down, they can be used as a backup.
The Scorpid Rocket pods. each pod holds 3 Scorpid Rockets, each with a shaped charge warhead capable of penetrating up to 7" of composite armor. Can be used effectively against both bunkers and armor. More skilled pilots have been known to hit and destroy air targets with these rockets.
The NM2 devastator Cruise missile. While a LineBacker can carry only one at a time, the NM2 is worth the effort. With a range of up to 220 miles, the Devastator can be fitted with a Bunker-Buster warhead for taking out bunkers, and airburst warhead for eliminating clusters of infantry, or a standard HE warhead for all-purpose attacking. Its unique fusion propulsion engine can propel it past mach 5 (making it near impossible to intercept) and also gives it a distinct 'scream,' often described like a scream of a Banshee.

It's hard to do fighters well in microscale, but this is a prime example of how to build them. Excellent work. |

I love it. The detail is above average and the feel is very browncoatish. It's great to see some good microscale being posted. |

It's quite good, especially the shape and weapons. A few things could be changed like the odd colours, but it is otherwise great. Nice work. |

WOW! dude, this thing has remarkable style. you need to find the time to make a miniscale version because this is so worth it. cool name, too. I absolutely love the cockpit. |
