Septa New Flyer D40LF bus
Not only is this possibly the first lego septa bus, but the first minifig scale vehicle with real features like Live axle with air ride suspension, working steering and working transmission. Now, all it needs is the lego power functions to power the vehicle and the frame I made on Lego Digital Designer but please feel free to post your qoutes and comments.
About this creation

The real Septa New Flyer D40LF in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.

The steering is a non spring live axle and works well, and is so stiff that theres not much bup steer when going over bumps.

This is a test back of the bus built from my own legos, just had to make sure the lamps would fit in the back lights.

too bad... no digital white archs in this size.

The moc air ride suspension, its truly altered lego tubing but functions and looks similiar to the real suspension. the gear box is supported by two moc air springs and a design similiar to Watt's linkage suspension.

edit: I rearange the suspension now & it works even better currently, watch the video

Here is video for building my suspension innovation!

This is a really nice one too. You'll have to come up with some decals...
