Ember class Airspeeder BrickWorks OLTGroup Build
About this creation
Here's my Ember class Airspeeder, my entry for the BrickWorks OLT Group Build, topic: Airspeeder.
This is my first attempt at an airspeeder, but I think it turned out pretty well.
As you can see, it is entirely SNOTed, with only three, studs on top, and those are covered up.
It's pretty sturdy, after about 4 remakes and and over three hours of sweat, blood and tears (well, I didn't cry, I did pinch some skin between two bricks) This was incredibly hard to do, because everything was upside-down, and things were only three-wide, instead of four.
It was so much fun to make, consider this the first of several. ;) My thanks to Matt Rames for the idea and building tips. Thanks mate. :)
The fastest of the fast, built for speed, designed for style, extravagant beyond belief, this is, The Ember
Underside, unlike a lot of my ships, this one's underside is finished and sleek looking.
The ONLY thing you'll be seeing, if you are foolish enough to challenge this Ember to a race.

excellent work Karrth! obviously an entirely unique design but still very well made! i really should try that style in my airspeeders! it is so sleek and smooth that i am almost at a loss for words. you should make more airspeeders! |
