About this creation

light cannon battery

main battery

engines- these can go into vtol, too

cockpit- you might be able to see that there is a pilot and gunner

side mg turret

a series of shots of the paneling on the sides

I used slopes and wedges here to transition from the paneling to the blockier section

greebs

folded landing gear and missles

take note of the subtle hourglass shape of the fuselage

holy flap lifting, batman! the sides lift up like flaps for easy playability!

left side

seen here is one of three gunner's stations, plus the resident mechanic

right side. man! all this flap lifting reminds you of your childhood reading richard scary's busytown, huh? no? well forget I just said that then.

aft armory/mission prep room

more weapons lockers

winch lift for cargo

guy at the controls of the winch

The ladder

cargo bay. notice the guy climbin down the ladder.

dropping troops with landing gear down

A little dio of it dropping troops in a hot warzone.

battle scene

Following a huge collection update from bricklink, I decided to make something equally huge.( I know its not ginormus, but its the biggest thing I've ever made) the whaleshark is an ideal weapons platform and heavy transport. armament includes two mg turrets, one light cannon battery, and a main battery. both batteries have two torpedo launchers on either side. the nose cannon is a type II magnetic coil artillery weapon (in this case airborne). its basically a big railgun. below the main fuselage is the cargo bay used for storing, well, cargo, as well as troops.

A really cool ship, it reminds me of Serenity.

This is great! I like the easy access panels a lot and the details you put into the paneling. It looks a lot like Serenity the ship from Firefly and Serenity the movie. If you could build a scale replica of that it would be amazing. I love that ship design! Andrew

I also thought it looked like the Serenity, pimped out for war. The engines do look a bit small compared to the rest of the ship, but it's no big deal. Nice job detailing the interior as well as the exterior, I have trouble doing that myself.

I like the interior the most. There is a lot of room in there, and you filled every single space with a good amount of detail. It wasn't just a simple cockpit/cargo bay thing, the Gunboat had crew stations, an armory, and a cargo winch.

Very nice design! The studless hull is nice and the flaps really add to the playability of the creation. Might I suggest making the engines a bit larger because they seem a bit small for the gunboat's size. Overall, nice ship! Looks like the one from Serenity!

This is absolutely beautiful, and a definite improvement over your early designs. The angled wedges, studless fuselage, and general style are all great. I look forward to seeing the other results of your last bricklink order. Keep up the good work!
