Ever since the MMF Army was founded on February 1, 2008, it’s been looking for the perfect truck for carrying supplies, ammunition, vehicles, gear, and troops. After the AAV came out, the Army realized that they could easily convert it into a tarp-covered transporter. To no one’s surprise, the idea worked well.
The overall truck looks pretty good, don’t you think? The cab took a while to figure out, but it was worth it.
The truck can easily carry a wide variety of cargo. The tarp is cheap, I know . . . maybe when I get some Indiana Jones sets they’ll give me new ideas. But for now, this is how it’ll have to be. Cool wheels, huh?
The truck is also used to carry Hotweilers, small jeeps, 4-wheelers, and other small vehicles. The ramp can be transported easily inside the truck to load and unload at will.
The interiors can fit quite a few pieces of equipment, if you know how to load them. The picture above features one of a million different ways you can load cargo: 1 Hotweiler, 2 barrels of ammunition, 2 large machine guns, and 2 troops to guard the ammo.
If you’ve visited my AAV you can tell I used the same front picture. Oh well.
Originally I tried fastening the tarp via Lego buttons. The idea failed instantaneously.
Look at all the things you can fit in this thing (though not all at once)! 4-wheelers, ammo, Hotweilers, cargo, and troops…
Yes indeed, the “Caisson” is the transport of the future! Order a dozen today!
