Introducing the first vehicle for the recently-founded MMF Army, a truck designed with a twin canon to shoot down enemy aircraft
About this creation
The MMF (Mikrosheise Minifig Forces) is proud to introduce their latest category to their military: The MMF Army. Now, the MMF Army is proud to introduce their first vehicle, their Anti-Aircraft Vehicle (AAV).
So what’s new? In the American Civil War, canons were mounted on train cars to shoot down observation balloons. Hotweilers were invented to counteract the invention of the airplane. Now, the MMF has unveiled the AAV, the not-so-affective means of shooting down aerial targets.
But don’t try to talk trash about this thing. With twin-mounted canons and topped off with a 2,000-mm machine gun, the enemy won’t be laughing for long.
As for this vehicle’s construction, it was fairly difficult . . . especially the cab. But a whole afternoon of labor paid off and evolved into this neat-looking truck. Cool wheels, huh?
Though the gunner is not well protected (virtually unprotected), the twin canons have a maximum range of 13 miles. Thus, he can shoot down his opponent before it can shoot him.
The gunner can rotate in any direction horizontally AND vertically. He has an 80% field range in all directions except straight ahead . . . but even then he CAN shoot over the truck.

The controls allow him an overall impression of what he’s shooting at, even though he can’t see visually.
The cab. As I had mentioned earlier, it took quite some time to build: mud flaps, doors, rear-view mirrors, and everything else. The two “sticks” on top of the truck are not antennae; they’re machine guns. Yes, machine guns.
I consider the cab interiors interesting enough to deserve a photograph. The truck can seat two minifigs side-by-side, though it is usually driven by only one. The keyboard beside him is for driving the truck and operating the overhead machine guns. The driver can also control the big canons if there is no one else to do so.
You can tell Bob likes his job. And who wouldn’t like to be in the MMF Army anyway?

This is great. I think you should add some troops to protect the gunner. But other than that its awesome. 5/5 :) |

I think it'd be better if the gunner had more armor seeing as planes usually have pretty strong guns, but it's still good. |

Wow! That's really good. I would make little sides for the minifig placement though. |
