An all-terrain robot designed to climb over obsticles.
About this creation
This robot is similar to a robot I built for a science fair. The original robot had a robotic arm on top and two RCXs. One of the features of this robot is that the whole robot is quite solid, with the exception of the part that holds the RCX the frame. I hope to improve this weakness in the next verision of this robot. It also had a tendance to flip over when driving over objects.
In order to have the power and robustness to drive over obsticles, each wheel is directly coupled to gearbox. A single drive axle runs through three gear boxes. There are two drive axles, one for each row of gear boxes on the left and right sides of the robot.
