The Mobile Laser Scanner
As a sequel to my unpopular Nuclear Waste Remover (and a variation of my airport tug) I will now introduce the Mobile Laser Scanner
About this creation

As a sequel to my unpopular Nuclear Waste Remover (and a variation of my airport tug) I anticipate that the “Mobile Laser Scanner” will attract a few more MOCpagers than before.

So, without further ado, I would like to introduce the newest addition to my vehicles theme:

This “thing”, as I originally called it, serves a vital purpose for a number of occupations. Though its name makes it sound sci-fi or something, it’s actually something that could be used on an everyday basis.

Besides its hot and sleek looks, the MLS serves a wide range of purposes: from saving tens of lives to thousands of lives. But it’s usually used to save millions lives.

The scanner, of course, is mounted on the front of the contraption like a bulldozer. Electrical wiring inside the boom extension travel into the body. The body houses an enormous electric memory system where the scans can be stored until they are transferred to computers to be analyzed.

But why scan the ground? I bet you’ve been asking that all this time, so here’s your answer:

* The MLS can scan a highway to detect cracks or any loose concrete that needs maintenance. This can be done for airport runways and racetracks too.

* After the hurricane of ’84, the city of Bricksburg used 300 MLS’s to detect any loose elements on the debris-filled roads before repair crews could bring in their trucks.

* Paleontologists and archaeologists use the MLS to scan for artifacts deep underground. The MLS’ penetrative laser can even detect a piece of pottery underneath a paved street.

* Like archaeologists, the military can use the MLS to detect mines. Miners can use the MLS to detect what they’re mining for.

* Geologists can use the MLS to track underground disturbances that may mean an earthquake or volcanic eruption. Thus, thousands of lives can be saved, thanks to the MLS’ laser system.

* Though extremely dangerous, the MLS can be carefully driven onto a frozen lake to search for trapped animals or minifigures under the ice.

* Well-diggers can use the MLS to detect underground water sources.

* And many, many more!

So are you convinced yet? Buy a few thousand today!

LOL. Very creative! But wouldn't ultrasound or x-ray work better?
