Charon's Curse (OLT Forum Starfighter Group Build)
This is a special prototype starfighter made for the OLT lego froum, whose link is on my homepage. This Starfighter is a one of a kind test version, it is armed with 2 laser cannons near the front cockpit, which is the gunner's, and various interchangable bomb bays. currently it is armed with a couple of missile tubes on the bottom, but other weapons can easily be switched and loaded onto the bottom. meant for frontal assaults the front of this starfighter is very well armored, and sports various sheild arramgements as well. the only part of the front which the gunner can see out of is the bottom, only for bombing raids, otherwise various targeting systems and HUDs help the gunner use the various weapons this starfighter can use. the pilot too, positioned in the rear cockpit, uses various HUDs because he obviously can't see in front of the ship from the back cockpit. facing away from all the engine arrangements he runs no risk from being blinded, and the cockpits are already heavily tinted. the central antennae is very resilient and flexible, and is very hard to destroy, backup antennae are located in each wing. The wing arrangement is also very advanced and based roughly from a Starviper's wing design. the very mobile wings can assume a wide variety of positions and that makes the starfighter very manuverable. each of the 4 wings also has 2 smaller adjustable wings on them, whcih boost mobility further. in addition to the main engines located on either side of the pilot's cockpit, Charon's Curse has more engines in each of the 4 wings. Although not usually used for general movement these wing engines can be used for additional spurts of mobility with great affect, since they pivot in the very articulate wings. I am very prowd of this MOC, supassing my usual bulding time of 2-3 hours this MOC took 5 hours, and although that may seem small to some builders i have NEVER taken so long to buid something as this. But like i said it turned out great, so it was well worth the time.

Great work! Mine is up too, now. lol, cockpits being tinted to keep them from being blinded, gunners having HUDs, sound familiar? Lol, amazing work, I really like the wings.

Wow... wow. This is one of your coolest ships yet. I love the wedge-shaped outline -- the whole thing looks very menacing. Excellent job.
