Steam engine loader inspired by old Popular Mechanics magazine covers
About this creation
COMPLETE--01/08/08
It's really fun building stuff like this but it's also a real challenge to achieve the proper look. I was inspired more by the amazing Popular Mechanics cover art from the 1910's and 20's (covers are archived on their site) then by existing steampunk stuff. Everybody interested should really have a look. Sorry but I'm too lazy at the moment to provide a link.
The snow trooper on skis has a bazooka just in case the enemy tries to stop their very vital snow removal operation.
Here is an intimidating shot that I like.
Woops! The driver fell down!
Woops again! The snow trooper fell down!
The power is impressive and very necessary for there is just way too much snow to clear for a weak machine.
I tried to make the interior kind of locomotive style. I'm really pleased with the lever on the right.
Here is the driver again. Actually he's making a cameo appearance here while he waits for me to finally order a bunch of red bricks so I can finally post his MOC!
really impressive. the photos are well captured too! gotta love the snow scene = ) great work! keep it up!
u've also inspired me on my next project too, so extra props for u!
