It's Lego!
About this creation
Inspired by Giovanni Seynhaeve's recent fascinating cyborg raceships,
http://www.mocpages.com/folder.php/20926
comes Blue System (named after some German pop band I don't like.
Other name contenders were: Oulaw Blues, Electric Blue,
Blue Sunshine and Electro Glide in Blue.)
Blue System is a part time racer and hence isn't quite as 'embedded'
in his racer as some of the other cyborgs racers, Psychotron for instance.
And as such he garners quite a bit of derision from his fellow competitors,
calling him "Weekend Warrior" and other more colourful put-downs.
Still, he is quite a fast and skilled racer who happens to win racers
more often than they give him credit for.
Another influence on this design was Legohaulic's FBTB
Ugly contest entry, the TriAngel. If you love asymmetry as much
as I do you WILL want to check this out!

So Nate Bush and Giovanni have taken the Cyborg challenge, will you?!
Our aim to to de-infect MOCpages of Halo and re-infect it with Cyborgs!
Just kidding ;)
Fresh from the cyborg factory floor:
"Onward-to Victory!"
I couldn't decide if I liked the cooling vane angled forwards or backwards so I kept changing it:
The winner and his spoils.
When not competing, Bluey gets around on his little hover-body, replete with cyborg arms, that really move.

Cyborg racers are really cool idea, nice way to use some heads that lost their body :) Very nice job on the bluey mate :) |

Great design! I just realized that I haven't commented on your stuff before and i'm not sure, but I think that's a crime on mocpages. Anyways, the innovative ways you use the pieces to make things that most people wouldn't even imagine are inspriring. I recently made my own racer after looking at both your stuff, and Jas from brickshelf. Keep on building,

On the right side of the first picture: is that... a shot glass? If so, I totally approve. Booze worked for Hemingway; it'll work for Lego. |

There can be no greater & more honorable undertaking than striving to rid these pages of HALO MOCs, for that alone you deserve a freaking medal! |

yeaheah, Cyborg racers rule the pages!!! Bleu System and Psychotron are certainly your best. I like what you did with that disk very much. I was planning on using them in the 08 generation more often...geuss they'll have to be really good now I've seen this! |

Nice racer, and the hoverbody is good as well. I think I should do something like this as well once... Oh, and I prefer the cooling thing tilted forwards. |

Seeing you and the other people you mentioned making these has given me the cyborg racer bug and maybe I'll have to try one. This one is awesome. Fast looking engine and nice color scheme! Great asymmetrical design too. Thanks for the inspiration! |

1 - Cooling vane definitely backwards. 2 - I'm surprised that you, as an Aussie, put your driver on the left side of the vehicle. 3 - I think "Blues Power" would have been a good name, although for you, "Blu-Tac" may have been more appropriate. 4 - This ship is very cool. |
