Annual fair at the crusaders castle of de Scorpis in Eddessa shire.
About this creation
This moc is part of a bigger moc (the whole crusader’s castle) and consists itself out of two mocs. The two store high tavern and the market place with a peasants home. The rest of the moc is just to make details to the fair. In fact I built it for CCCV for the festival category.
What is always important to me is playability and thus to open the moc and get to every corner of it. I haven’t made the details in the inside though. I didn’t feel like doing them. Maybe one day I will finish the interiors, at least when the whole crusaders castle is ready. Enjoy the partly european medieval and partly arabic style architecture of the moc situated near the holy land.
By the way, I know it is supposed to be called Odessa. Well, I guess in my Lego world it is Edessa.
I know this has nothing to do with this moc but I thought you will like it any way.I think you should build a belfry bell tower what ever you want to call it.
This is really good. The little things going on everywhere gives it a fun, lively feeling. The flags, fire eater/breather, and the fortune teller are brilliant.
Wow! That's full of color and a busy atmosphere! It almost looks more like art :). Seems like a cross b/w castle and some middle eastern market place. Cool.
Fantastic - this MOC manages to capture that fine balance between a detailed, really visually pleasing model and a truly functional and playable one. I love the way you have captured the "busy-ness" of the scene while preserving a pleasing aesthetic. Great job.
