Taliarn SunFlash Fast attack fighter
About this creation
Here's my Taliarni SunFlash SpeedFighter.
Armed with two Pulsettes, a pair of plasma-rockets, and a set of BackGuard rapid-fire light cannons, this craft is heavily armed, but it's engines are what really make it special, they can propel this craft to speeds up to 1100 kmp/h sublightspeed. It also has a small energy-field projecter located just under the hull in the rear of the craft, capable of projecting a shield strong enough to take about 4 hits from a Pulse cannon before subcoming to the energy.
So, enjoy!
I really like how smooth and sleek this turned out to be.
I had a lot of yellow seats from some old sets, and was wondering what to do with them, and I found that the angle and tilt of them makes for an amazing looking set of tailfins.
The tailgunner has a set of BackGuard FireStream rapid-fire cannons used for keeping off enemy craft.
The engines on this craft are so incredibly powerful, that the rear windscreen has to be tinted to keep the tailgunner's retinas from being seared clean away. He also has an HUD to help him aim.
I love how the general shape of this turned out, and it has great swooshability. It has replaced my HAFT as favorite for just picking up and swooshing around through the house.
The SunFlash is also equipped with this amazing piece of technological weaponry, the ElektraNet.
It is made out of triple-strength, reinforced, FlexiSteel, and has a power generator in the center capable of sending a power surge so strong, it can shut down all power to a ship even the size of a Plagor Landing Craft, and stopping all systems for about five minutes on a Plagor Frigate and other huge ships.
The only downside to this fearsome weapon is that it costs about 2,000 Taliarni Credits, so not every ship can carry them.
I just love this ship. Perhaps I'll post interior pics soon.
After seeing Matt Rames' fighters and bombers, I decided to make one of my own, and I had an excess of yellow and white pieces.
I really like how the white and yellow went together, and just how the general shape of it turned out.
I also found a use for those wing pieces on Anakin's Jedi Starfighter. This ship has a combination of SNOT (StudsNotOnTop) and ordinary building techniques, plus a small thing which uses placing a 1x1 round stud in between 4 studs, to create an effect that would otherwise require 3 2to1s.
After some scathing remarks by my one-time friends (jk, guys) I decided to scale back the amount of Photoshopping done on this one. There, ya happy now? lol
Thanks for looking, reviews and ratings are always welcome!

A very cool little fighter with some interesting details. I tried to email you some nickname ideas but something was wrong with your email address. Anyway, how about: "The Sair up there!" or "Sair the Debonair!"??? |

very cool. I like the double cockpit, and the coler scheme is great. One thing, "Sunflash" is a MUCH cooler name. |

mmm... swooshy. I love the lines of this ship and the use of those Jedi Starfighter panels. You DO need to use matching canopies for this sort of thing, and please make sure the wings are tilted at the same angle when you take your photos, but these are both minor complaints. This is one of the coolest fighters I've seen. |

I really like it, however, there are two things I would change: 1. I would get matching cockpits, and 2. I would have made the rear turret a bit smaller. But those are both minor details IMO. I love the lines of the ship and its aggressive nature...good job. |
