Orc Warg Rider (Sharku with Warg)

"Bring yer pretty face to my axe!" - Gimli (The Two Towers, movie)

It's a shame Gimli doesn't get to fight more in the movies, especially with Legolas stealing all of his kills. Glory hog.

My warg is like all LEGO creatures: a relatively jointless block. However, unlike most LEGO creatures, he is actually MADE of blocks. The head took me a few tries to get right, and I never could get an opening mouth to look good, but I'm satisfied with it.

Sharku is the name of the leader of the Warg riders, the Wolves of Isengard. He's one of the most hideously ugly orcs in any of the movies. Apparently he got mauled by one of his pets, because he has three claw scars across his face and one of his ears is missing. Yes, all these details are on my LEGO as well. I even put the strip of metal welded to his head, whatever it is for...

Gimli would never have been able to survive this without his dwarven constitution bonus. There I go with the D&D stuff again...

In reply to A Boy:
Yes, I have read the books, and I believe that Saruman was actually called "Sharkey" in the Scouring of the Shire, not "Sharku." Sharku was a name used in the movies for the Warg Rider leader. I don't know if it was in the books or not, but you can find plenty of action figures of this character (the one who fought with Aragorn right before he rode off the cliff) with the name "Sharku" on them.

I am very disappointed. I would have expected better from the famous Saber Scorp. The rider's body is great, but his face looks very sloppy. The warg could have been much more articulated, and been build from better pieces. You should spend more time on you LOTR thing and not disappoint your fans...

Yeah! Thats really cool! You made the entire thing out of bricks! Thats tight. I agree the mouth is kind of messed up but it's still cool! Your little comic clip sceane is funny and the part about D&D is catchy. In my opinion the Dungeon Master just got lucky.
