The Avatar Scout ship
A small one person spy ship!
About this creation
The Avatar is the scout ship for the Gothica. Equipped with a full array of sensor jammers and stealth cloaks it's only real chance of being spotted is by the naked eye. The bird like shape of the ship is partly in response to this risk, hopefully anyone spotting it will mistake it for a bird of prey!

This is the wings folded position for entry into atmospheres.

It also provides extra armour for the pilot during the dangerous period where sensors are in operable due to temperature and magnetic interference.

Though from above the pilot can still be seen.

Then the wings unfold.

The tail 'feathers' are actually a complex sensor array.

The bird shaping may seem very terrestrial, but most worlds with flying fauna have evolved similar shaped animals.

Function dictates form in nature.

Though mostly a scout, occasionally these small guns are needed!
