Gothica
Seventeen smaller space vehicles in one large carrier.
About this creation
The Gothica is a fully operational battle group in one ship. All of the ships you see coming out of the Gothica can be found in greater detail in the other folders of the Gothica section here at the House of Nabii!

These are all the ships in the Gothica's fleet, let's find out where they come from!

The Gothica with everything docked.

Looks pretty cool.

And it's pretty big.

From the side.

From the rear.

The obligatory Vic Viper shot - though it's not a VV!

It's influenced a bit by Warhammers Battlefleet Gothic.

Here's the rear closer in.

This is the Avatar Scout ship docked on top of the bridge.

And here it has left.

The bridge tower is kinda holy...

And it's full of crew.

Here you can see the main power relays. (There's a actually a light in there.)

Top rear angle.

The aft gunners.

But wait, more then just gunners!

Something is launching.

It's a drop ship!

And it's turtle shaped. Let's call it the Turtle.

So far that's only three.

But looky at these ten pods on the side.

They are launching.

Half gone already!

And what are these hanging underneath?

Two fighters on each side.

Now just one.

All gone. Nice engines.

Something looks odd here too?

Looks like a med-evac ship!

Door closed.

Big medical bay in the middle.

That nurse is using a scanner.

And that guy looks ill.

Wow. A lot of ships.

All from one big ship!

Here's the face detail on the side of the ship.

Shaping of the underside.

Engine Details.

More underside details.

The tail of the scout ship.

The rear gunners/Turtle pilots/

Engines!

Greebly goodness.

The face!

Gothica text.

The main gun.

Front view. (Couldn't be bothered cutting the background out.)

Angling.

Close up on the bridge.

Engines and gun.

Just the bare bones of the main ship!

This was totally amazing. Even better in the flesh when we saw it in the flesh yesterday at MOSI. It was really nice to meet you and the model is awesome.

Dude. Seriously. When I first posted my SORR Endeavor I thought it's functionality was top-notch. ...Wow, was I arrogant. This ship is amazing. Don't know how I overlooked your stuff for so long but at least I'm seeing it now. There is so much -nay- too much to say about it on this post. You stand out from almost every other builder on this site with variety like: colors, design, and functionality. Excellent work. ~ Matt

Duuude. you have some serious skill here. I wish I had those resources. and did you legitimately use magnets to hold those ships to the bottom? epic. I am simply in awe. xD

I don't care how big it is, nothing mobile (short of a Death Star or super star destroyer) has a right to carry that many satellite vehicles! An amazing build made thrice as impressive by the features.

Man, this does look awesome. Especially when it is all in one block. (The battle ships on the sides look a bit simplistic when all on their own.) How can anyone get so many spare blocks as to build anything like this?!

Its a pitty you don't have some close up and detail shots here like with your Big Boys Toys! Nevertheless I like this many vehicles in one concept very much!

i think that this piece really shows your skills when it comes to legos. the idea of connecting small ships to make a bigger ship. I really admire your building style.

This is one of the more amazing SHIP's in existance. It's like a self contained task force. It reminds me a little bit of the Battlestar Galactica. This thing has it all, dropship, scoutship, squadron of fighters, and even a medical evac ship. :)

All right, that is just too cool! I seriously would have thought it was an actual miniature model craft from first glance. The whole Carrier thing is really awesome. I bet there's a lot more going on inside the ship that you're not showing us. :) I really love your designs. The amazing details make your creations one of the best I've ever seen.

Great ship, the unusual use of castle part in a space ship is verry cool. And i realy like the command post and the fighter. By the way the name Gothica fit perfectly with the look of the ship.

I thought this was a really well done microscale starship when I first saw it and would have given it a 5 but now that I know what it actually is I'm pretty much awestruck. This is an amazing culmination of a theme. All the different ships and the minifig scale and the great building technique throughout make this one of my favorite MOCs ever.

Round of applause for you!! and on display…… what I would do to have that kind of honor… I love the color differences for each ship, the pilots would then know which one is theirs!

Utterly excellent work. The gothic styling here worked excellently, and loved all the little details. Truely looks like a ship of an invasion force. Might I suggest you use "centred" picture format aswell?

That is one brilliant design - I could spend an hour discussing the elements I like, but I don't have that kind of time. Nice job. Lee.
