The Stud and co. Mk. V is the backbone of SMC Artillery units. It is small enough to navigate city streets, yet its 105mm cannon packs a big punch! Don't underestimate it...
About this creation
Another shot of the Puma in action. Notice the MG-101 heavy machine gun the Puma uses for self-defence.
Here is the inside of the gun bay. The gunner aims, loads and fires the gun from here. A small elevator bring shells from storage bay inside the vehical to the gun.
The gunner or the vehical comander can aquire targets from this position.
The insignia of the SMC. PLEASE, do NOT tell me what else it's from!
The last thing an enemy sees before being splatered! The front grille keeps such occurences from denting such a fine machine...
The driver (right) and commander (left). Also present is the wind screen, pick ax, and even an electro-magnet. We're still not quite sure why it's here.
The gunner getting ready to fire. Note my cool breech assembly.
The barrel. It is made from those little ribbed thingies.
No more to say...
Here is a shot of the crew. They are dressed in standard BDUs, but other units are supplied with similar vehicals. This one is operated by the 8th Border Artillery Unit. There crest depicts Trogdor*, a figure in Spartan folklore. A tracked version of the Puma is used by desert units.
*i wish to thank the Brothers Chaps
**And thank you Grif, for the name. I'm sure you would be proud!
Its pretty cool, I like that its not as heavy as a normal Self-propelled howitzer such as the American M109 but I think the gun should be a 152 or 155mm such as most howitzers.
