About this creation
Assault shuttles are used by the Lego Space Force to land the first wave of troops during planetary invasions. Faster, more agile, and far more heavily armed than a lighter dropship or the much heavier Hurricane heavy troop transport, these ships can survive a descent through heavy anti-air defenses. Each one can carry a single tank or about thirty troops.
Powerplant: Fusion reactor X1
Thrust: General Electric G230 plasma turbojet X4, GE G500 plasma rocket X4, Regulus Spaceworks D94-S fusion drive torch X1
Weapons: Chain gun X6, plasma cannon X2, particle beam cannon X2, anti-tank rail gun X1, several missile hardpoints.

Top view.

Side. The stand doesn't hold it up much higher than its own landing gear, but it makes it look like it's actually in flight.

Front. Nothing more to say.

Back. The raised portion of the back wall is the rear cargo door, which opens to allow access to the cargo hold. The engine sticking out of the back wall is the fusion drive torch, used for flying from a planetary orbit to the edge of a star system, while the four smaller thrusters located above and below the hull are the plasma rockets used to climb out of a planetary atmosphere. You can see the jet engine nozzles under the wings if you look carefully. The cargo bay itself is large enough to fit my AAPV.

Awesome 3/4ths view.

Greebling on the top.

Side view with the landing gear down. The rear wheels use primarily technic pieces while the front wheel is mounted on two sets of click hinges.

Front on, wheels down. The front wheel has sunken into the carpet. Landing in a sand dune? Maybe we're still occupying Iraq in 2500.

The interior... or at least the part of it that's worth seeing. The cargo bay is just empty space.

Cockpit with pilot.

An assault shuttle contains the equivalent of a complete forward command post in the front half of its hull. Two workstations display information from the sensors of the shuttle or other units on the battlefield; they also allow the user to communicate with friendly forces and provide limited control over the ship's weapons. Only one of them is occupied right now.

Two more pictures of the consoles.

One of the three chain gun turrets. The yellow tile is supposed to be a sensor of some kind.

I only put two weapons on each wing: a rocket pod and a missile. If at some point I make modificatons, I'll add more to the underside of the hull.

That's big. Very big. And detailed. |

A very credible design, but the colors are not quite there. Other than that, nice job! |

Some real tricky angles in this ship which is great work. A few different colours but the way you have used them is very effective and does not look odd. Just fabulous.

This is an awsome ship, I especially love the design of the front, the way it tapers down. It's interesting how it doesn't have an extremely uniform color scheme, but still manages to look totally cool. :) |

my opinion : It's not a beautiful shuttle, but is so stuck together, it goes so smoothly and it is perfectly streamlined, I couldn't help it and I voted a 5, nice work |

It's great how your basic design is incorporated into all your ships! You're like some kind of master shaper guy. The wings are my favorite. As far as your color, there are some instances of it not being symmetrical and some where it could be clustered more but the overall effect is great and definitely not worth a star demotion. What kind of masterly shaped MOCs will you have for us in 2008? |

Very nice! I like the angular shape. You should make a small ground vehicle to go in it. |

i actually like this alot because of the angles; its not boxy like other ships, and has some good details in the interior. |
