LIU Mining Trike
Move minerals, rocks, or have one heck of a hay ride...
About this creation
LIU Mining Trike

The Ludgonian Industrial Union has the answer for all your mining problems, the LIU Mining Trike. Use the small, but powerful trike to pull mineral or rocks from the mines to the shipyards. It also is available to those who wish to spice up their hay rides!

The Mining Trike was specifically designed for use on the LIU Mining Worlds. These mining worlds have small tracks, which forced designers to keep the Trike narrow.

A rear view shows off the pilot's controls and the Trike's fancy adjustable lights. Yep, join the fight against darkness...

The front wheel is the driving force behind the Trike. Its tracked design allows for maximum power.

The rear two wheels of the Mining Trike have no power, they just roll along. Their tireless, trackless design was designed to roll along the tracks in the LIU Mines.

A view from the top....

If bikers didn't hate trikes so much, this thing would look pretty cool burning down your empire's highways...

The Trike's hitch allows it to pull containers full of rock.

Here's the aforementioned container. Its where the mineral transportation / hayrides from hell take place.

Here's the Trike at work on the LIU Mining World of Tycholoperia.

The mines of Tycholoperia flank both sides of the majestic, beautiful, and highly polluted Tycho River. This bridge joins the gaps in the mines.

Thanks for visiting our site. Please see the cashier on the way out.

Note: Although designed for LIU mines, the Mining Trike should fit your mine. Should.... Maybe a test run is in order before you buy too many. In fact, we'll rent you one to test for three days, for a small fee equivalent to 33% of the Mining Trike's cost.

this is the perfect example as to why it s so important to expose in context! i see this trike, i figure, a mine layer, or retriever, then understand that it s a different kind of mine, then, wham! it all explains itself by one pic! a mining equipment vehicle! the trike itself is not revolutionary, it s original, but, quite simple, but the context, tracks, mine, concept, is great work!

hmmm, a mining vehicle, and a tourist attraction... Makes for a great buy! The FTO will take one to test for the tracks in our mines on Kurtison III. FTO high command would also like me to inform you that we have defeated the Kitunian Territories, and all BUYNET and SALENET systems are fully operational.

Why mine when you can just take resources from other nations by forcible conquest? That's the IU's preferred method. Nice little miner vehicle, by the way.

Nice! Do the treads rotate though? Oh well, even if they don't we'll take 500! I'm sure we can convert them into flying war-machines, or somethin'!

Nice trike, I like the adjustable lights and the front wheel. But that mining world backdrop really completes this MOC. BTW Does the front wheel actually rotate?

The trike is nice and all, but going to the trouble of constructing the mine backdrop for it -- that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I feel vaguely guilty for not doing things like that more often myself.

a very cool MOC. I really like how you did the front wheel.I do think that the driver needs some sort of protection, though.
