This mech is used in the front lines of an attack. It is used as a shock mech, to quickly and effectively demoralize the enemy. Its name comes from the two heavy flamethrowers on the lower weapon array. In addition, it is armed with a shrapnel cannon, a quad-mortar launcher, and twin high-powered plasma cannons. It is a heavy variant on the "Chicken", but while it has improved armor and weapons, it has little manuverability, requires lots of energy to maintain, and is costly to manufacture.
For all those who ask "why toastmaster?", it is because this mech makes toast out of enemies.
About this creation
Side view.
Back view (sorry 'bout the flash).
Top view.
Detail of the leg. I can't decide if it's good or too thick. I used a pair of ancient hinges on the legs, and they couldn't support the weight. So I had to add the extra support.
Detail of the plasma cannon.
For scale purposes, here is a rather colorfully dressed NRF fighter attempting to stand up to a Toastmaster.

Great mech, the detail is great and is so compact looking, which alot of builders, including myself, struggle at sometimes. Where did the name "Toastmaster" come from? I don't exactly tremble at that name hehe. Fantastic work. |
