You could find a pebble in an asteroid field...
About this creation
LIU Roid - Asteroid Surveyor
The Ludgonian Industrial Union, fresh off a week long hiatus, are proud to present the future of Space Mining, the LIU Roid. Don't risk larger scout ships searching for minerals within asteroid fields. Buy the Roid and double your space mining ability.

The Roid's small size allows it to manuever easily through cluttered asteroid fields.

An advanced radar, attached to a swivelling joint under the Roid, scans the field and determines which asteriods contain valuable minerals. The radar can also find lost watches, keys, or gold teeth...

Here's the radar in action over the BURP Asteroid.

The designers failed to realize that a large glass dome may not be the best bet in a field of fast moving rocks. However, it does give your pilots an unparalled view.

The controls are located above the pilot's shoulders. The concept may seem unusual or even awkward, but LIU scientists swear it cuts down on carpal tunnel.

The main engines....

The Roid locates a concentration of minerals on the BURP Asteroid and calls in the miners to extract it. No Mr. Jackson, miners, not minors.

The whole crew...
Note: The Roid should not be confused with Barriod, a cybernetically and drug enhanced brikball player.

Nice little MOC there! This could have a shockwave ray-a-ma-bober thing covertly strapped to the radar dish so you could blast away your enemies with sound pulses or something. (Like in Dune). Either way nice MOC! |

Nice! Sorry we disapeared from the face of the universe (if that makes sense) for a couple of weeks. We were laying low for a while, because of that threat we got from the "unknown threat". But our intelligence experts found that the threat was just some teenage kid being cute (don't worry, he's going away for a looong time...). So anyway, nice creation! These could be pretty useful... We'll take 100. |

Very cool MOC. Great use of the bubble window, and the antennas. The one thing i want to fix about my Heron Bomber is the front. What was I thinking when I put the things on the front? who knows. Great MOC anyway. |

Man that is really cool! A great little design and very industrial looking (not to mention cute!) I can imagine them zipping in and around an asteroid field. |
