Three-level mine with working elevator and lights.
About this creation
Hidden within the Shadow Mountains, only assessable by either Putrid Creek or the treacherous Hidden Pass, ghost drums within the Haunted Mine echo in the moon lit night . Four greedy miners have come to the mine to extract its treasures. Unfortunately, they did not heed the warnings of the reluctant towns people within Grave Stone. Legend says that the mine is haunted by the spirit of a great Indian warrior and that within the depths of the mine, his ancient weapons are still burried, cursed for those who desecrate the chamber. But the curse has not stopped miners from digging within the dark caverns, some still burried under cave-ins within the deeper levels. What ancient curse will the miners unlock?

I just cannot get enough of Grave Stone! I actually got that excited feeling, like when LEGO releases the first pic of a new set, when I saw the Haunted Mine in the New Mocs section! Now if only I could have the satisfaction of owning this set..or any other in the series for that matter. I will have to live with that empty longing in the depths of my soul forever. Curse you Brickster! Curse you and your wonderfully imaginative creations. ;)
What a great addition to your Grave Stone theme! I probably wouldn't have thought of going underground, but it's so obvious in retrospect. The quest to strip the Earth of its gems and precious metals was a big part of America's westward expansion. Why did white men start moving to the New World in the first place? They found gold. Cortez reputedly said to Montezuma, "We white men suffer from a disease of the heart that only gold can cure." Socio-political commentary aside, nice MOC.
