On the outskirts of Dunwijk (to the East of Gijpswik) lies the purpose built Andrea de Cesaris motor racing circuit. This year it hosted round 3 of the LEGOŽ Q-steerŽ Grand Prix series on October 23rd. It attracted a record numbers of competitors. A good lap was timed at eight seconds, in a WRC works Subaru Impreza. Sadly, shortly after the event was staged an unexpected giant invasion reduced the circuit to its constituant pieces, rendering it unusable for the foreseeable future. This is a great shame as the grandstand had gained a new roof during the time these pictures were taken and the actual race. There is a fair bit of you tube footage of the event
