I'm just curious, what settings do you use when rendering?

Oh, I get it now. It's a high altitude fighter like tge 190 D9 or the Ta152. Maybe mounting the wing a bit lower would give Iit that outline. A mod mounted wing is better at low altitude.

Quoting Brickviller - I like this one. As I don't know a lot about planes I have to say it's quite long. Then again I don't know a lot about planes. The technique for the cockpit (using bricks instead of a mold) adds to the detail. Tongoria has a fine protector
Look up the Ta-152. It is long because of its powerful engine.

Matthew, the 4* is neither an accident nor a nasty gesture. I think that the 5/5 rating is so overused on MOC pages, and that by not impulsively giving a creation 100% I can be of more use to the builder. Where to start? I think that this build shows technical excellence, and is clear evidence of your imaginative building style and clever techniques, however it is lest down in one area. The Proportions of this fighter just seem warped. When I draw, I often find that if I start detailing before the outline is complete I have a drawing that in areas looks great but overall is unrealistic and shapeless. What you have here is a good wing design mated to a good engine cowling design and a good tail and cockpit design, but they have not been blended well into one shape. The cockpit seems to be too sunken into the fuselage and too flat in shape, and the fuselage itself just seems far too shallow and thin to match the profile for the aircraft. I know that you don't make many aircraft like this which shows the techniques as outstanding but I hope in future you will structure your builds around a good looking fuselage. Please take this the right way, I have waited to comment until I could phrase it properly.

I have to agree with what the others have said. The shaping on this model is excellent, and the prop assembly in ingeniously designed. Great job!

I like the way that you've made the canopy framing on this aircraft. Its shape is great for a WW II type build, a blend of Me109 and some of the YAK designs. Nice work!
