For honor and glory!
About this creation
So round two happened...

We all were paired up with another participant and each pair was given a different category. Here was my category's description. Build a kingdom’s or a modern city's streets. Or maybe create a whole city or kingdom micro! Let's make this creative and maybe small.

And who was I paired up with? I was paired up with the great microscale builder, Lego Jim. Oh no.

So here we have my Black Night forces charging Jim's castle. Okay so it doesn't look exactly like his entry but this was on the other side of the city. :)

I'll explain any details with their respective photographs.

Rotations

Close-ups

So I wasn't sure about adding the soldiers, but I knew that there would be so many that they would cover the ground. I feel like the clips are the correct size but the bases on the clips are too big. Imagine each piece being 10 people. The battle not quite Lord of the Rings sized, but it's getting there, you can only fit so much on a 12X12 platform.

Then there are also the catapults. I didn't want to use the illegal connection, but nobody helped me out when I asked! What the heck, man!

This is kind of inspired by the Battle at Helm's Deep and Grant Davis' MOC, but it must have been really sub-concsious because I didn't think about it until after I had built the tunnel.

Entrance into the walls to get to the upper levels.

Where the king or commander can address his troops and also observe the warriors int he distance.

The castle also has a back entrance and there are some knights to defend it from any enemy troops. Luckily, nobody has discovered it yet.

Now there are some fun things that I put underground to fill in gaps and not have the ground be so boring.

Here's a Dragon Bone.

Look at all that delicious gold!

And in case any of you were interested in making some micro trees...

Here they are, young and old. Not too pretty but not too over the top either.

It was a very fun build I don't normally build in microscale and certainly not castles. It's a nice change from some of the other stuff I have built in the past.

I hope you have enjoyed the post, don't forget to rate and comment!

Hey, you made it. Congratulations. You had a great entry. If I had to lose, I'm glad it was against you. Go get them in the next round. I'll be watching.

I like the clips for troopers, in bulk they do the trick nicely! I'm not too fond of the tower tops, though, they are a bit out of proportion... Nevertheless, the overall is a very good build, with delicious details.

Ok. I'm home from work, now I can really check it out. AWESOME! Great job. I like the castle, the trees, the underground bits, the catapults, the whole thing. You had said you needed some help on the catapults, dude, I would have helped. It's a contest and all, but I would have helped ya. I'd be cool with it. I mean, sure it would be cool to win, but, it's mostly just for fun. They turned out pretty cool though. Anyways. It's a close race. Great job.

Quoting Stephan N I find your post great. I can see the huge armies fighting each other and fallen in battle cry. The castle and the landscape is very beautiful. Good luck
Thanks. Your comment is also really cool. All those guys just yelling and all the swords and armor clanking. Yeah man, a great mental audio image, if that makes sense.
Quoting Everyone
Thanks for all the comments. The things I'm not so happy about becuase of the illegal connection are getting the most love. It's so funny.
Quoting Lego Jim .... Awesome build, man. I think I might be in trouble. You got a lot of great detail in it. Great job, I love it. You're really good at microscale too.
Thanks. We've got this. We'll just have to make everyone feel bad that one of us is going down and one person will just drop out so we can both compete again. :)
