1966 Batmobile
Had this one on the 'to do' list for a while, and finally started work the other day.
About this creation
Unfortunately MOCpages was down when I went to upload this yesterday, so those of you who follow my Flickr will have already seen it.

I based this on my 'American Cruisers' from last year. David Roberts actually suggested that I used the base of those vehicles to do a version of the iconic Batmobile from the '60s TV show.

Unfortunately my Tumbler isn't quite the same scale, but then you didn't notice that.

Christian Bale waves on as Adam West sits in the drivers seat of the '66 Batmobile.

Thanks for viewing!

@Peter - Thanks! @Sven - Thanks a lot mate! @TJ - Thank you! @BrickBuilder7622 - Thank you very much! I personally prefer the Tumbler, but it's all down to opinions. I'm glad you like it! @Lego Jim - Thanks a lot! They are very different in style. I love how fun your version is, it really captures the feel of the TV show. @Dr. Monster - Thanks! @Clayton - Thanks a lot, I'm glad you like it! @Yann - Thanks a lot mate! @Stephen - Really? I'd have said that would be too much black. Each to their own I suppose! Thanks. @Frank - Thanks! @DAS - Thank you very much, David. @David - Something to look into perhaps. Thanks David! @Andy - Thank you, Andy. It's probably one of the best known cars around! Well, you're welcome to your own opinion. Thanks! @Elk - Thanks! @Jim - But you already have your own version! Haha. I don't do instructions or breakdowns, but you're welcome to build it from the pictures, it's not very complicated at all. @Achintya - Thanks a lot mate! @Mitchell - Thank you, Mitchell. @Benaiah - Thanks a lot! @Sam - Thanks. Na na na na na na na... Sorry, I'm not helping here, am I? @El Barto - Thanks mate! @Matt B - Thanks a lot Matt! @Matt R - Thanks Matt! Indeed he is. @Nick - Thank you very much Nick! @RB - Thanks! @Stephan - Thanks a lot! @Parrington - Haha, thank you! @Gabor - Thanks a lot! @Mark - Thanks Mark! @Nils - Thanks! The sloping rear helps to give the impression of fins, as in this scale any kind of rise would be too much. @Scott - Explained in my reply to Nils. Thanks. @Malte - Thanks! @Sinan - Thanks! @Jozsef - Thank you!

Very cool and instantly recognizable, but where are the tail fins? (I know, that's not easy in this scale...) Anyway, great job!

Very well done! Perhaps the best part is the Batman microfig in the driver's seat -- that is minimalism at its best.

Mate, that's easily recognisable! I know, because I actually have a Hot Wheels die-cast model of it. Nice work, anyway!

I came back for another look. That is just too cool. How many pieces did it take. Do you have instructions or a parts list? Or maybe an exploded view photo? I would love to build one of these. It's so awesome.

Cool one Starscream, I see the 66 Batmobile is getting famous arround here, I might try to do one ;) I'm not sure about the front, I think the 2 radiators look kinda strange... But looks good, cool one to expose next to your Tumbler.

Shame it doesn't have working rocket launchers... ;) Seriously, I think this little build is super and I like the two drivers too.

Hohoho, now that is sweet! Truly excellent models of both iconic Batmobiles. Although, I have to say, I think I like the Adam West version better. Such nice work on the detail... Very awesome! 5/5! :-)
