After weeks of intensive building and four BrickLink orders I can now say that I've finally completed my Liberty Walk Ferrari 458 Italia. On November 1st 2013, a certain widebody 458 was posted on that 458 was something that would literally melt down the website! The Liberty Walk 458 received negative and positive feedback, but no matter what I think everyone can agree that the LB*WORKS 458 is pretty crazy! Personally, I fell in love with it ever since I laid eyes on it. I'm not much of a supercar fan, but this thing is right up my alley! I never, ever thought I'd attempt building it, the curves just looked like too much of a task, but after doing something on the real car for a school art project I had a feeling that I could possibly build it into brick form. My 458 features a load of offsetting - the Ferrari is 16-wide, but goes to 17-wide in the front fenders and 18-wide in the rear. I've tried to replicate the real LB*WORKS kit the best I could - this is definitely the hardest car I've ever built! The doors and boot/trunk opens, but the hood doesn't unfortunately. I hope you guys like it and I hope I've done the Liberty Walk team proud!
