Escape!
An MBC for LOM. Also my MOCiversary MOC.
About this creation
Thorn has escaped! The dreaded Sentinel found a Shadow Drake in the dungeons of Hadran, and has caused terror in Maple River fortress. (My first MOC on MOCpages; this is a reevamp, for my MOCiversary's sake) The Archdruid and Spine, along with the captain of the guard made a futile attempt to stop him. Who will Thorn be terrorizing next? 4th wall: I know this was a lousy story.

So my MOCiversary is tomorrow, and I don't feel like writing the story of my life. So, if you care how I found MOCpages, it was because of Mark Erickson deleting his (old) Youtube account. Some cool people you should check out are Gilbert Despathens, Holly 141, Ian ..., and Prof. B..

Quoting Thomas of Tortuga Very nice job! The dragon looks quite nice, especially that tail technique and the horns on the head. The mountain fortress is good, too, and the BURPS are well-disguised; my only note is that I think it would look better if it wasn't a cutaway :)
IMO the cutaway was an important part of the MOC.

Quoting Julia LeeP Really nice build, Asad! That dragon really is wonderful, and you are quickly improving in terms of your rockwork, although it is still a little plain/blocky. The walls could also use a little refinement-- I'm not a big fan of uncapped headlight bricks, and those clips don't really work as texturizers. Your foliage is steadily improving, however you may want to add some more variety and mixing in it. And you have a LOT of water peices :P Overall though, great job on this big project, and happy MOCiversary!
Thanks! I really hope to work on my rock work in my UC.

Quoting Prof. B. Wow Asad. That's one excellent MOC! Fantastic dragon and stonework. Has one year already passed?! Time flies when you're a LEGO builder, I guess. Welp! Happy MOCiversary Asad! Your latest creations have astounded me, which, I must say, have definitely exceeded your oldest creations. Well done sir! And thank you for that honorable mention! I was not expecting that. Let's see what this new year will bring, eh? Keep building! :D
You were on that list because of comments like this. Thanks!

Quoting Halhi 141 Nice build! To answer your question to Gilbert...it's nice overall but individual parts seem a bit unrefined. The dragon is kind of awkwardly shaped and studdy in some places, the wall's texturing is blocky and the 1x1 clips don't work whatsoever, and the rocks are pretty simple. Some smaller builds with more focus on technique and refinement might be good to practice techniques to apply to bigger builds like this.
I see. You are the only one who has opnly shared dislike for the clips though, I think I'll keep them.

Happy almost MOCiversary! By the way, my resolution for my next MOCiversary is to stop using the term "MOC" - "My Own Creation" makes me think of a three-year-old showing his mother the tyrannosaur he made by sticking three random Duplo blocks together. Argh, I'm deviating... The important part of this message is, have a great joining-the-online-fan-community-anniversary and nice action in this scene. The terracing works fairly well on the righthand side of the build.
