After a few months of handling other business I finally had time to work on my lego models. My next project: 1/36 lego scale model of the C-47 Skytrain with D-day markings. It's a shame Lego hasn't produced that much dark green yet, so I think the actual model will be built in Dark Bluish Grey. That is, untill Dark green is available :P

Thank you guys, for all the nice comments. The only thing that is still keeping me busy is the shape of the nose, it just isn't quite good enough for me. So, I will hope to improve it by the time I'm building the actual model!

Quoting Henrik Jensen To change your background for LDD sceenshots: 1. Open your vectorbased layoutprogram, or if you dontīt have any, simply open Windows paint. 2. Insert a picture or a plain box in any desired color, this will be the new background. 3. In your LDD editor: setup a suitable angle for your model and press ctrl+k, now your model is captured in the Windows clipholder. 4. Open the window with your background and chose paste or press ctrl+v, now your LDD-model is visible in your layout. 5. Chose save as to save in JPEG-format. I hope this was usefull.
Thanks a lot! Very usefull indeed :)

Quoting Henrik Jensen Wow this looks promising! Iīm very much looking forward to see this in real bricks. I know of the problems with dark green, I have had to paint quite a lot of bricks not available in that color, for my models. But if you are a purist, this is of cource not an option. A suggestion: Your LDD background is not very conducive for your model, and itīs easy to change.
Thank you for your kind words. Indeed I am a purist, so I will go for dark bluish grey! Regarding my LDD bakcground, please do tell me how to change it!

Really nice job! It looks like you've nailed the shape and color markings perfectly.
