Final Toa Ropu member. Not my best work, but this was made about a year ago. Expect a future update with a more custom build.

Titles: Toa, The Forgemaster
Mask: Kanohi Akaku

Story: Kelux spent much of his time as a Matoran working alone as a chemist and a forgemaster on an island bordering Mata Nui. His skills and creations were reknowned on Mata Nui, although they cost a hefty price. He created everything from weapons to transportation. He grew to be fairly wealthy and live an easy lifestyle.

One day, a Toa contacted him to make an elemental blade made of a particular stone which he would supply. He agreed to the contract and awaited the supplies. Later they arrived, a large rock with a glowing center. He got to work smelting the materials to be forged into a blade, but found the core of the rock refused to melt. He discarded it and finished the project. When the Toa returned to receive his new blade and Kelux asked for his pay, the Toa replied with the center of the stone was his payment and left. Kelux felt cheated and raised prices for his services. This led to a decrease in business, which left him with more free time. During this, he started to experiment on his "payment" from the Toa. After weeks of research and experiments, he learned nothing about it, which slowly raised his insanity. He displayed the rock on his workbench and resumed work in the forge.

One night, he had a dream with the Toa who had commissioned the blade. He explained that what he had left was a stone unlike anything he would ever find again and that it would change his life. The dream then was interrupted by Teridax who killed the dream Toa and began tormenting Kelux. Kelux awoke to the shaking of his forge and the glowing of the stone on his workbench. Kelux grabbed the stone, tools, and weapons and ran out of the building. Upon exit, he was attacked by a Kurahk and group of Rahi. He jumped on his nearest transport and set out for the mainland. However, the Kurahk froze the Protodermis around the vehicle, stopping him in his tracks. He dove into the sea, only for the same thing to happen to him. Just as the Rahkshi was about to deliver the killing blow, a blast knocked it back. Kelux blacked out to the sight of the Toa from his dreams attacking the Rahkshi.

When he awoke, the Toa was at his side and they were back inside the forge. However, something was out of place. He looked around the building with confusion. The Toa set about explaining that while he was unconscious, the stone had transformed him into a Toa. Kelux was shocked and ran outside. Upon looking at his reflection in the Protodermis, he saw himself as a Toa. He questioned the Toa why he was chosen, to which the Toa replied that he had just had a vision and that destiny had just proved it. The Toa promised to train Kelux in the way of the Toa. In the next months, Kelux learned to control his powers over Plasma and perfected them. He joined with the Toa and traveled to the mainland. The duo worked to prevent any threats the Ce-Toa sensed.

Later, the duo were captured by Makuta who swore to finish what the Rahkshi had failed at. The Ce-Toa gave his live to allow Kelux to escape. However, shortly after, Teridax had completed the takeover of the Matoran Universe. Kelux was once again imprisoned.

After the battle, Kelux helped in repairing the damages and worked to create new tools for the Matoran and Agori. He rebuilt his forge and reopened business. Later he was admitted into the Council of Toa as its chief armorer and often contacted by Karihi for custon made parts. Later, he joined with Karihi as a member of the Toa Ropu.

Jaetaro's comments: So, I built this guy almost a year ago and gathered parts at BbtB 2013 just for him, however, I pretty much gave up after building the torso. Many of the parts went onto building Atarashi. I think that the strict color scheme limited the build as well and in a future revamp I might consider a third color. Overall, the build is sub-par.

With all that said, here's the final member of the Toa Ropu. Expect a post of all the members in the future, but can you guess who they all are before then? I also have a few more mocs to post.

Thanks for viewing! Please critique and rate the build! Thanks!

You should've put Team Plasma in Alignment as well. Sweet torso btw

My favorite element! And I think this is actually a really good MOC, for my high Su-based standards. You mentioned a third color, however, and I would really like to see his color scheme stay like it is: strict and concise. It works wondrously! There aren't enough MOCs like that on the Pages. Even his simplicity in some places adds to this. Other than that, might recommend spending some time in making him more complex but similarly sized weapons. They are a bit generic. Akaku seems out of place. While it's just the right size to be proportioned with the MOC quite masterfully (I'll give you that), it could be substituted for another white mask in my opinion. Maybe without the telescopics. Excellent use of Krana and the Pakari, though. I disagree that the build is sub-par. Finally: from the way he looks, I thought he'd make for an easy going character, rather than strict, so maybe that's something to take into account. Liked the backstory!

Quoting Dark Aeon Nice build! I honestly like the current color scheme, but for a third color I would suggest either yellow or red, possibly even black.
most likely black, since black is easy to use and I have a lot of it. Thanks for the comment!
