LOM RC- The Horn
Sir James strode up the narrow canyon, climbing further upwards with every step.
About this creation
What Happened First?
What Happened Last?
What Happens Next?

Mt. Ersted was the highest peak in Rainos, and up its south slope ran a steep gorge. From here, he could see a good portion of Rainos, and even a smudge of Hadran and the Sea Beyond on the horizon.

The Horn

From beneath his cloak, he drew a long, curving horn. This was a horn of Trolheimen, crafted to carry across the mountains of Isla Norte. Placing it to his mouth, he winded the horn with a low, reverberating blast. Around him, the rock walls rang with the sound, focusing it out from the mountain and far over the wide lands below.

Nerogue

In every land of Mythron, the horn was heard, a vague trembling on the horizon, but for those to whom it was intended, unmistakable. And from their rest cloaked figures quietly hurried out, racing for Rainos.

Mythron

As they traveled, few noticed them, but the wise elders saw.

Outlaws

"The Nighthawks have been summoned," they muttered softly to themselves.

Enalica

"There will be great doings in Rainos tonight."

What Happens Next?

This is my first new build I've been satisfied with for a while, so yay :) I'm also glad I got an RC posted, so double-yay ;) Some things of note:

Mt. Ersted is a reference to Joe McGill's story. He mentioned it in his faction leader proposal.

Bodus Minor's design is modeled after Object of Legend's version. I realized while building that his color scheme looks a lot better in real life than it does on a screen.

Yes, this is a plot device.

Each 8x8 vignette is set in one of the other factions.

The pine tree design is, to the best of my knowledge, my own invention.

Finally, keep guessing who the Nighthawks are. Sir James finds your ignorance amusing ;)

Thanks for reading!

Quoting Joe McGill Wow, I love the colouring on the rocks in the mountain scene, really nice colour scheme. You also captured OoL's Bodus Minor really well, and it's a look I really like. The trees in the Mythron bit look a little odd, but that's an original (I think) design and pretty clever. Does this have anything to do with that certain plot development? You know? That one?
Thanks! I'm pretty pleased with most of these scenes, especially the first one. Yeah, the trees look odd, but at least they're original. Oh, and it might ;)

Quoting Stephen Boe Lovin' the color scheme in that first build!
Thank you! I thought it looked very dry and mountainous when I put those together- appropriate for a midsummer mountaintop.

Quoting Halhi 141 Not bad for a quick build (I think). I think my favorite is the first scene.
3 days, yeah. The first scene is the main, the others are essentially a montage on a pretty base :P Thank you!
