A double set review for the "75036 Utapau Troopers" and "75034 Death Star Troopers" Battle Packs. I hope it's useful! Please comment, rate and enjoy!
About this creation

Let's start with the Utapau Troopers Battle Pack. Here is everything you get. Box, instructions and the set itself.

Here is the main part of the set, the Tri-Droid. It is reeeeally flimsy and is basically a table scrap.

Twist the bottom section and the top section rotates. Nothing fancy though.

And of course, it has three flick-fire missiles that don't really work because the tripod won't stand strong enough to flick them out.

Here is the REAL main part of the set. The figures. They're brilliant. As you can see, you get two of each type. Two airborne troopers and two standard 212th troops. The details are fantastic. As you can see they also come with those daft new blasters.

The backs and one helmet removed. They all have the same face which is a little disappointing.

Here are the spares. Loads of blue studs for the blasters and a couple of spare bits that are the mechanism for the blasters.

Review:
As per usual, the figures are the only reason to get this set. The Tri-Droid is pathetic and the set is way overpriced. £9.99 maybe, but even that would be pushing it. Wait for the sales unless you really want the figures (Which I must say are brilliant.)

Now, onto the next set! The Death Star Troopers Battle Pack! Here is the box, instruction booklet and the set.

Here is the turret. Um, not much to say really. It tilts up and down... and the chair spins...

Push the knob in the back and the missile fires out.

The four figures. Again, two of each type. Two Royal Guards and two Death Star Gunners. All four are quite nice, albeit a bit boring.

The backs. At least the two gunners have different faces in this set. The two guards have black heads.

And the spares in this set. Just like the other one we get lots of spare studs for the blasters.

Playability Factor:7/10
Value For Money:8/10
Overall:7.6/10

Review:
It's decent. Nothing amazing though. Again, I'd wait until a few quid get knocked off the price before buying it. The figures are good but it's just a very basic set.

Despite the Death Star Troopers Set getting a higher score in my reviews, I actually prefer the Utapau set, purely because the figures are amazing. If I had to pick a favourite, it would be the Utapau set.

Quoting J D This was quite helpful, very nicely done! I like all the extra studs(good for water and lava!). Would you try doing a review on the new guns? I don't have any yet... Maybe just another comment or something.
Thanks. I did a review of the new guns in this review. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/381692 --Blast--

I thought the Death Star figures were pretty boring too. I haven't been able to bring myself to buy the Utapau trooper yet. I have bought several of the Kashyk trooper set, which are pretty great minis.
