Le-Koro Treehouse and Gukko Tree
...Treehouse! Gukkos! Yay! Built for display at Brickfair VA this on August 2 and 3.
About this creation

The Gukko tree is a tree I originally built a couple of years ago for a Spanish project, and which I re-used for yet another Spanish project this past year. Now it's a Bionicle scene, which I personally prefer. The Gukkos, one baby and one older, were more recently built.

The treehouse isn't the MNOLG-accurate masterpiece I had envisioned, but for not having bought any extra parts to build it, I'm happy with how it turned out. Maybe not content- I would love to rebuild it as an actual MNOLG MOC someday- but happy.

This scene would make a good companion piece to my Ga-Wahi beach, if the beach hadn't been disassembled long before.

Be sure to look for these MOCs at the upcoming Brickfair VA next weekend, August 2 and 3!

Comments, suggestions, complaints, and the like are much appreciated!

When I first saw this, I smiled with JOY ! I've always like the air village / lore behind how they run their civilization... now that I think of it, it kinda reminds me of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes ;) LOL. Really great use of both System and technic. I like the simple yet clever designs. You made great use of parts to make the tree trunks/branches, and the container tops for tree tops / leaves is genius ! It's a bit sad that you didn't use a larger sized matoran, but I can't complain. I feel the base could have had more stuff added, and there should be some MAtoran swinging from vines.... but, I can't complain. I also really like the other tree and the mini gukko birds. Great job on all of this. Really creative and BIONICLE ! :D

I can hear the music of the Le-Koro band from the MNOG as I look at this. It's a great MOC.

Quoting L.A. Miranda Wonderful use of those Mata bodies and the canister parts! Really love the upper part, the place of the orb. May I ask you how did you put the Zamor Sphere? I see some transparent parts there, but I can't see how did they keep the sphere... Also, lovely Gukko reproductions! Marvelous work, dear. Hope to see more of these in the future! <3
There's a small wheel piece whose axle is the perfect diameter to go into the tiny hole in Zamor spheres. The wheel piece can also be connected to certain stud receptors.

Beautiful. The use of the Mata Bodies as tree trunks is brilliant, even though you aren't the first person I've seen to use that technique. Beautiful display, if I may say so.

Wow! This is an awesome build! I love how you used the tops of Bionicle canisters for the tops of the trees. I have a bunch of Bionicle canisters but I've never thought to use them in a MOC before.
