"A Place of Trade"- Build a scene showing some form of Medieval trade (or inter-galactic, for you sci-fi builders), this could be a classic medieval market or a merchant traveling to distant lands. Be creative!
I actually didn't think I was going to enter the BrickBattle Games this year, but with three days to go (the extension wasn't going at that point), I just couldn't resist the urge to build for it. My first thought was to do something Castle, but seeing how the majority of the other entries are Castle, I decided to do something a little different, like an officer selling weapons (illegal most likely) to a group of mercenaries for an extra buck, which is what you see happening here.
I really tried to give a run-down feel to the warehouse with making it look like it was falling apart completely. To achieve this, I incorporated patches of growth around the broken areas, and the use of masonry bricks, studs, and dark tan in the walls. I also tried to make it so that even though the warehouse is still a bit older and has all the normal warehouse qualities (varying levels, high windows, etc.), there's still futuristic aspects of it such as the door and wall slants. All in all, I'm really happy with how this turned out. :)
Absolutely amazing my friend. You should put this up on lego ideas. I would make 100 accounts to vote for this lol ojoj. I challenge someone to make an uncharted lego build complete with on Mr Nathan Drake and Sully. :)
P.s does anyone know of any sites that show how to make alternative builds from lego sets? I have a lot of sets and would like to try and make alternative builds but need instructions.
I do believe you blew this category away! I love the warehouse that broken window seals the deal. The figures look perfect for the rolls you given them right down to the tough looking buyer use to being betrayed. Positively brilliant work. I'd would actually love to see another photo titled "deal gone bad"
