Here he is in all his G1 RE-RE-RE-ENGINEERED glory, Legoformer Devastator version 3.
About this creation
Devastator is an immensely powerful warrior, and in that sense the combination of the Constructicons into a merged being is a huge success. Mentally, on the other hand, he's very much less than the sum of his parts. Devastator's primitive psyche is limited to only the thoughts and actions on which all his components can agree, which results in raging bouts of destructive fury. Given the sheer power Devastator brings to these rages, Megatron has no complaints.

Devastator's upper half:

His hips and legs:

The head of Devastator:

The Magna-Laser / launcher:

The codpiece: (Save the jokes.)

A late entry - as big D is articulated! His legs move and his head turns - and I shortened the Superwing so his arms can move better.

To my critics, this is why the vehicles are SMALL scale.

Thanks to the ball joints, his arms are somewhat posable - that huge Superwing chest piece limits that. fists move, rifle is aimable. Head and legs are immovable - that will change in a future version, I have some ideas already (evil Decepticon grin). Very much like the G1 toy I owned in the mid 80's... 30 years ago!

All info on Devastator was gleaned from TFwiki.net.

As always, feel free to comment / critique, build on and HAVE FUN!

P.S. Thanks to Chris Roach for teaching his building techniques and to the Almighty Jervis for an LDD version of Devastator. Your Constructicons don't transform into individual robots - to me, that was the challenge. :) Y'all are inspirational to me. THANKS!!

Quoting That guy you saw earlier Looks good! Maybe some SNOT work to get studs on all sides so that you can round it/smooth it as you please
