About this creation
Edestar was a member of Krekka's species, originating on Stelt. He was far more intelligent than the others of his kind, but still possessed their characteristic brute strength. Little is known of his early history, but he was recruited by Toa Helryx to join the Order of Mata Nui, and quickly showed his skill in battle and strategy. His ax was specially crafted for him by Artakha, and is resistant to elemental energy, and, like Brutaka's sword, cannot be wielded by any other being.

However, Edestar was too ambitious. He was banished to the Pit after an unsuccessful attempt to overthrow Helryx and control the Order. Like all prisoners of the Pit, once exposed to the mutagen, his body transformed into a hideous half-shark monster, but by incredible strength of will, he fought against the mutagen and retained the use of his lungs. Not wanting to start needless fights, he kept his distance from the other prisoners.

When Voya Nui returned to the Matoran Universe, Edestar followed after and sought refuge in the tunnels above Karda Nui. It is unknown what he did there; Edestar was not seen until the reuniting of Spherus Magna, when he escaped from Mata Nui's body with a band of Av Matoran and hid in the White Quartz Mountains.

Edestar and his Matoran following believed that Agori and Glatorian were inferior beings. He banded together with several former inhabitants of the Matoran Universe who felt likewise and waged war against the natives of Spherus Magna, but was hopelessly defeated. In the confusion following the battle, Edestar and some of his following escaped and have not been seen since. Rumor has it that he is amassing an army and plans to get revenge.

Very nice build! Love the axe. The head is nicely done as well. The shaping is great but the feet look a little weird. Nice work.

Quoting Stormjay Rider dat shark head tho. Took me a minute to find the reason for it. Anyway, I like this MOC, the colors are well executed and the styling is well done. The two things I most want to see in a MOC. You didn't really need the pistons though (unless he's too unstable otherwise), the two Steltian sets we got didn't have those.
This guy is quite heavy. He's rather unstable even with the pistons.

Quoting L.A. Miranda Amazing work in this guy, dear! While, like most of the people, I really love the head, there are other parts of the build that should be mentioned, like the lack of gaps in the whole MOC, the amazing chest (miss a heartlight there though ;3) design or the weapon it carries. Though, to be honest, the arms don't convince me, even if they work they look quite thin and weird. Also the legs look weird too in some pictures, but probably it's due to the pose of them. You have built a Bio-MOC to be proud of, it's really worked and beautiful to the sight. Also, the editing <3 Marvelous work, my dear!
Yeah, I kinda skimped on the arms. But thanks for noticing all the rest of the work I put into this guy.
